Soon after your share of a community solar farm begins producing energy, you begin receiving solar credits on your monthly Xcel electric bills.
Each credit is applied as a deduction, which helps you save on your electric costs! Though we aim to cover as much of your typical annual electric cost as possible, your monthly credit may not always fully cover what you owe to your utility.
You'll find your community solar credit in the "Summary of Current Charges" section at the top of your bill listed in the "Other Recurring Charges" line, as shown in the sample bill below.
