Soon after your share of a community solar farm begins producing energy, you begin receiving solar credits on your monthly ConEd electric bills.
Each credit is applied as a deduction, which helps you save on your electric costs!
Your community solar savings for the month can be found in the "Adjustments" line on the first page of your bill in the bill breakdown. More specific details can be found in the "CDG Credit Summary" section, as shown in the example below.

Details of each line are as follows:
- "Prior Credit" is any excess credit carried over from previous months.
- "Adjustments" is your net savings - what you saved on your current bill by being a Solstice customer.
- "Current Month Allocated CDG Credit" is the full credit amount you received from the most recent solar production period.
- "Host Bank Credit Allocation" is unused credit from the solar project that can be applied to customer bills.
- "Total CDG Credit" is the total amount of credit applied to the current bill.
- "Remaining CDG Credit" is excess credit that will be included as "Prior Credit" on your next electric bill(s).
- "CDG Savings Rate" is your community solar project's fixed discount.
- "CDG Subscription Fee" is what you pay for your credit with the discount included.
- "Total CDG Net Credit" is your lifetime credit to date.
