Soon after your share of a community solar farm begins producing energy, you begin receiving solar credits on your monthly National Grid electric bills.
Each credit is applied as a deduction, which helps you save on your electric costs!
If you're enrolled with a dual bill project, meaning you receive a bill from National Grid and Solstice:
- You'll find your community solar credit in the electricity "Delivery Services" and/or the "Supply Services" sections of your National Grid bill. In both sections, the credits are labeled as "Community Net Metering Adjustment."

If you're enrolled with a consolidated bill project, meaning you do not receive a bill from Solstice:
- You'll find your community solar credit labeled as "CDG Credit - Applied To This Bill."
- Your bill will also include the discounted charge for your credit. The charge is labeled as "CDG Subscription Fee."
