Growing up surrounded by powerful artists and activists in Oakland, California, Allie always felt a pull towards social justice work. While majoring in environmental studies at Swarthmore College, she was a solar ambassador for RE-volv, a climate justice organization that helps non-profits go solar, and a member of Serenity Soular, a grassroots organization dedicated to green jobs training, community healing, and solar deployment in North Philadelphia. Before joining Solstice, Allie served as a renewable energy consultant at Integral Group, a deep green engineering firm, working on building decarbonization, electrification, microgrid, and resilience projects for C&I and higher education clients. In 2018, she was awarded the WRISE/GRID Alternatives Fellowship for Rising Women in Solar. In her spare time, Allie loves doing ceramics, admiring her houseplants, and taking house and hip-hop dance classes.
