While working in Yemen and the Middle East, Solstice CEO Steph Speirs witnessed considerable energy inequities. Although known for their abundance of oil, the country of Yemen and the Middle East region were unable to distribute energy effectively and equitably. The solution? Solar energy. In this episode of “Flipping the Barrel,” Steph discusses how her time working for the White House National Security Council prompted her to start Solstice and strive to make clean energy accessible to all.
