Solstice • Aug. 27, 2020
The Anderson Center for Autism in Staatsburg, New York partners with Solstice to provide affordable clean energy to the facility and its members. By enrolling its property in community solar, the Anderson Center will offset the carbon emissions of 102 cars and will annually save around $10,000 on its electric bills. In addition, Solstice is donating $50 to the Anderson Center for every community member it refers to community solar.
“Partnering with Solstice was an easy choice. We signed up our organization’s properties for the solar farm and were excited to share this opportunity with our staff,” said Susanne Holtman, Director of Finance at the Anderson Center. “We have had lots of great feedback on the program – I signed up my own house and am proud to be a subscriber to a Solstice solar farm!”
