*The Illinois Solar for All program is a state program that brings the benefits of solar energy to income-eligible households, non-profit organizations, and public facilities. Eligible participants can save money on electric bills. Community Solar subscribers in this program can see savings of up to 50% on the supply portion of their electric bill. Solar credits received are based on subscriber energy usage and the solar farm’s energy production, which can fluctuate month-to-month, resulting in varied savings. Since credits and savings from your subscription will be applied directly to your electric bill, you will not receive a separate bill from Solstice. The subscription term is for one year and auto-renewed yearly until you cancel. You may cancel anytime, and there is no fee to cancel your subscription.

Community solar is when we allocate you a portion of a shared solar farm in Illinois that will produce clean, renewable energy on your behalf. The green electricity is sent to your utility company and is reflected on your normal utility bill along with your savings. You will see a 50% discount on your normal utility supply bill for the electricity produced by your allocation. Since the credits and savings will be applied directly to your electric bill, you will never receive a separate bill from Solstice. Your lights turn on as always. There is no installation, extra costs or downtime.

We are partnering with these two fantastic organizations to ensure that everyone in our community can take advantage of their local community solar farm as a broader part of the Illinois Climate and Equitable Jobs Act that was recently passed. With this new state program our residents can join a local solar farm administered by Solstice and receive energy credits that are guaranteed to lower their electric bill. 

When you enroll, you will be allocated panels from a Solstice solar farm. Your panels will generate energy that will be credited to you on your electric bill and will cover your supply costs at a 50% discount, resulting in 25% off your total electric bill. Additionally, you will receive a $25 enrollment bonus for joining.

Yes! We are encouraging everyone to participate in this program as it is free to join, safe, and provides monthly energy bill savings. Only income-qualified residents can join at this time. Residents who don't qualify can still join a waitlist to sign up in the future.
