Families in Oregon CUSD 220 can join an Illinois solar farm, support renewable energy in your community, and enjoy up to 20% savings on your annual electric supply costs* with no installation or upfront payment required.

For every 100 households that join, two Oregon CUSD 220 high school students will receive a paid sustainability internship. Your support will not only help a student gain valuable experience, but you’ll also receive a $100 Visa Bonus Card too!

    Contributing to Oregon CUSD 220

    Every household that signs up for the Oregon CUSD 220 local solar farm contributes to our Sustainability Scholarship Program. For every 100 households that sign up, two Oregon CUSD 220 high school student will receive a paid sustainability internship. 

    We are targeting 100 enrollments through our partnership with ENGIE and Solstice to offer 2 scholarships, and you can help us get there by enrolling in community solar! Together, we’ll lower one another’s electric bills, build a more resilient community, and continue our long tradition of excellence in education. 

    Your Community Solar Garden’s Impact

    In the first year of your community solar garden’s operation, it will have an environmental impact equivalent to:

    Solstice is an Approved Designee of the Illinois Shines Program, also known as the Adjustable Block Program or “ABP.” Illinois Shines is a state-administered program implemented by the Illinois Power Agency to promote new solar development and solar PV systems. Solstice Community Solar Farms produce local solar power, and Renewable Energy Credits, or “RECs” are sold to the Illinois Shines program to help Illinois reach its renewable energy goals.
